Rose Sales campaign coming soon

An exciting flower campaign run in conjunction with Cystic Fibrosis

65 Roses Day 2011 has an exciting (and fragrant) addition to the mix....Roses!
 
So as well as following our inspirational heroes and collecting merchandise you can purchase a bunch of specially marked roses for that someone special – maybe you!
 
With the valuable support of the flower industry, this year Roses will be branded with the 65 Roses Day label and $1 per bunch will be collected and donated to cystic fibrosis. These specially marked roses will be available for you to purchase in the week of 65 Roses Day, 23rd – 27th of May from your local participating florist and stores.
 
Florists are encouraged to set up window and point of sale displays promoting the CF message to create as much awareness in the community as possible!
 
Participating growers, wholesalers and florists will be offered publicity and promotional support from Cystic Fibrosis. This initiative will also be promoted right here on the national 65 Roses Day website! Here you will find a list of all your local florists that are participating and selling roses for cystic fibrosis, so you know exactly where to look for your next flower purchase! Don’t forget to let your family and friends know where they can buy their roses to support a great cause!
 
Last year we saw great results with 11,512 bunches being sold. Thanks to 21 local florists and the flower industry $11,512 was raised for cystic fibrosis! We are looking to increase this figure to 50,000 bunches being sold in most Australia states in 2011 so please read on to see if you can help us reach this goal!
 
How you can help....

If you are a florist, wholesaler or grower we are seeking your involvement to assist us reach our goal of selling 50,000 bunches of roses in 2011. 65 Roses Day is a fantastic campaign to help raise much needed awareness and funds for families living with Cystic Fibrosis around Australia and is a great initiative for the flower industry to support. This campaign offers your customers another incentive to purchase roses after Mother’s Day and with publicity and promotional support from Cystic Fibrosis you cannot go wrong! If you are a grower, wholesaler or florist in QLD, VIC, SA or WA please contact Tegan at events@cfv.org.au for more information or alternatively order an amount of 65 Roses Day labels to prepare for the rose giving week! Upon your order you will be sent an 65 Roses Day Information pack including all your promotional material and local media will be encouraged to support your venture. If you are a member of the community with a love of flowers we are seeking your support to get behind this initiative and purchase the specially marked bunches of roses from your local florist! Treat yourself to some fresh roses or surprise a loved one with this thoughtful gift whilst knowing that you are helping those living with cystic fibrosis simply from your purchase or roses! Keep an eye out for all your local florist listings and if you don’t see your local florist make sure you ask them to be apart of this great initiative for cystic fibrosis!
